Intermediate shafts - different from SN to RN?

I am working on piecing together Sjetrider's hull for myself. I am using a 1992 SN hull as a donor. Sjetrider mentioned that the intermediate shafts and housings are different between the 92 hull I am using and his 97 hull I bought. Anyone know if I can still use the SN one? What's the diff?

my bad, i miss-read his post... didn't comprehend the "and" between shafts and housings for some reason...

YES, the shafts are the same and the housings are totally different.

90-93's are smaller w/ a different bolt pattern and no grease fitting.

bearing housings are different.94 up have the large housing.shaft can be different as well.coupler thread size changed sometime along the way.the shafts will interchange as long as you have the right coupler to go with it.
