Custom/Hybrid Interactive map of AM hull owners

I keep reading threads on aftermarket hulls and keep winding up at the same place, I need to ride them all to decide what I like best. In my area there are relatively few aftermarket hulls on the water so test rides are kind of hard to come by unless I go to an event. While there are a few close by, they are surf events, and I ride 100% flat water (my ski has never seen salt water, it was close one time).

The purpose of this thread is to ask if anyone has considered, or made, a map of people with aftermarket hulls that are willing to let others check them out. My computer skills are pretty limited so I am not the one to make such map. Is this something someone might want to take on or is it something that just doesn't have much need?

Would have to start an open google map and allow other people to edit it. Then they could add their location and note what hull they have.

You NEED to go to the Lake Erie Freeride. It isn't that close, but there will be at least 30-40 aftermarket hulls there if it is anything like last year. There are areas for flat water and there might be waves past the point. I rode 6 or 7 last year. Great ride! Check out the thread.

Map sounds awesome. We should have a freerider map as well so that travelers can find riding buddies on their trip and to show new riders where the groups ride.

Tyrant you should employ this idea with your database project. A database of jet ski information through location.

Locations derived from rider profile database. Instant map of riders based on search criteria. Search "jetmaniac big bore superfreaks". Boom you know where to go to try a hull with a similar driveline

I think this is a totally cool idea. Maps of riders based on whatever criteria you are looking for! My programming and computer science skills are base at best but if you need any help I'd love to contribute to the project. Maybe help designing the info form we fill out for the map search? Regardless, this is a killer idea!
