Intake Gaskets - to seal or not to seal

In the past I have always assembled the intake assembly with dry gaskets
but seem to have recurring problems with air leaks and end up having to over torque the intake bolts.
Should I be using some kind of sealer on the gaskets?

I run em dry. Try putting some silicone grease on each side of the gaskets and see if that cures your problem.

I don't use sealant on gaskets except for the flywheel cover gasket and the ebox gasket.
Works fine for me.

I like to use JSS ski grease on gaskets like that... helps to add a little bit more sealing qualities, and makes 'em easier to remove when you do. IMO

Buy a tube of Dow Corning 111 - same type stuff, cheaper.
