No problem. Make sure the resin is nice and thick to bond them in (it takes a surprising amount of cabosil to achieve that - it needs to be like peanut butter ) and apply liberally around the seem. You want to see it oozing out everywhere when you tighten the screws down. Then wipe the excess off immediately but leave a little oozage all around the outside. Check for any air gaps and goop some more thickened resin in there if necessary. You end up wasting quite a bit, but that's better than leaking or cracking later. You can put the 8oz over the edges right away - you don't have to wait for the thickened epoxy to cure and it's actually stronger if you don't. I cut it into strips about 3 or 4 inches wide and patch my way around the edge. When you put the cloth over the edge, you can squish it down onto the oozage, and that forms a nice chamfer to help the turf bond. I'll sketch a pic and post it up in a couple of minutes.
