Whats the best way to install a 2nd pulse fitting on a62t case. What should I use for the nipple? Epoxy or press fit in place? Thanks
get a nipple from an engine builder.
-Pull carbs.
-Stuff a rag in the intake past the hole.
-drill correct size hole, counter sink.
-jb weld and press in place.
-vacuum all the chips.
-reassemble.
Use the OEM Yamaha pulse fitting part number 62T-14251-10-00 they're $1.85 each.
Wouldn't that result in a weak signal for 2 large aftermarket carbs?
Just build motors with 760 casesI did and had to block one off for my 38's.
strange that they did not do it in the SJ but in the 64X they did from the factory....
The SJ runs only one fuel pump.
In stock form, true.
If aftermarket carbs using internal pumps, they are seperate.
aftermarket carbs with an external pump, only one needed...
wait, now that i think about that, that blows my theory :banghead:
talking out my ass...
