In an effort to ensure my ski does not sink again I decided to try and bulletproof the exhaust system,so I installed the PJS pipe and took off the PSI pipe I was having trouble with.I decide to go with t-bolt clamps so it can't come apart.I order the clamps I thought would fit by looking at the chart.I try to install them and no go,two are too big and two are too small.Well no problem right just look on the chart and get the next sizes two bigger and two smaller.They got here yesterday and two worked perfectly,the other two are too big.So now I am sitting here with about $100.00 in clamps and I still have nothing that will work.I start looking at the clamps and thought if I could cut the one end off the barrel and reattach it somehow it just might work,so you know what happens next.Yep cutting up brand new clamps with the cutoff wheel.It took a little bit of doing but I was able to reattach the cap on the barrel and make the clamps work.I got all but one clamp on,the one that attaches to the thru hull exhaust will not go on any kind of way ,there is just no room,but that one is unlikely to give problems anyways.:slap::261:
