Blaster Inconsistent throttle response

I have had my blaster for a few months now and love it. I currently have ran into an issue where the throttle response is inconsistent.

If i cut hard or bury the nose or let it sit in the water or sometimes some 1/4 throttle cruise - the ski feels like it loads up and has very little response. it feels like the carb isnt opening fully even with the throttle wide open.

If i hop the ski out of the water and clear it out, it comes back to life until i cut it hard again...

So could it be the carb or possibly the water box...?

The ski has a riva red pipe, riva head and a non stock intake. The carb is jetted to 145 high , 120 low, the screw setting is at 1.5 and 1 turn resectively. fresh plugs (br8es gapped to .022)... cleaned the carb out the other day and it was mint, new fuel filter, all fuel lines are intact, plug wires look like they are in good shape.

Any help would be very appreciated. I WANNA GET OUT THERE TOMORROW!!!! lol thanks.

Do you have a primer? If so, pump the primer a few times while riding and see if the throttle wakes up for a few seconds.
If that is the case you're likely running lean.

If it runs worse, you're likely running rich.

i know this may sound stupid to some, but it happened to me, do you have a fuel/water separator? if so, make sure its not full of water, sometimes those things can allow water to run through when full, but on;y during certain maneuvers, if not, then i would guess carbs are not adjusted correctly (possibly a T-handle adjustment backing out??) I don't think you are pulling hard enough with current specs. to be "starving" the carbs.

idk just my .02
