Is the pitch of the solas concord and the skat-trak swirl comparable?
Someone have a 12/15, 13/15 or 13/16 3mm setback skat-trak swirl on his 701 superjet?
I wanne switch from the concord to the swirl.
Thanks.

I believe the amount an impeller is cut back depends on that impellers original design. but if the skat and solas are comparable, i don't know. i love my 13/16 3mm cut back solas impeller though

I also have a 13/16 concord 3mm cutback but I hava a little slippage, no cavitation at all. Did a little research and that should be typical for the concord. The skat should give me no slippage at all, that's what they say though.

I have ran both, the concorde is a good prop, but there is a noticeble lag when you nail the gas, but once you are use to it, then it is not a problem........ The Skat Freeride prop hits the second you nail the throttle........ I run the SKAT now..............

Is your skat also cutback?

I run a Skat swirl also with a pitch of 12/19 and it hooks up instantly and delivers impressive performance with no cavitation .

Blowsion recommended I use this one instead of the Solas cut back.

The Skat swirl blades are further back and don't require a cutback .

Cut back is like an 1/8 of an inch by the way so what gains you get from this ???? I'd love to see a comparison because I have my doubts that an 1/8 of an inch further back impeller does much .:bs2:

Weird. I run a Skat 11/19 on a mostly stock setup and I get horrible cavitation at the extreme low end, so it's either that slight pitch difference or the cutback that giving you the good performance.
