I have been in the process to become a Fireman for months now. And what do you know they called and told me the academy starts next Mon. I'm now going to miss Daytona, a Vail Ski trip and a trip to San Diego I already canceled once a few months ago. Sorry I will not be there to see everyone, I had a great time last yr and hope to make it next yr. Have fun everyone, and be safe.

im currently trying to get into the nypd and if that phone call comes ill have to drop everything as well.

oh well so you miss out on stuff for a few months. it will all pay off in the end with a nice career.

my buddy and my girl's brother are both fdny.

they work 2 24 hour shifts per week.....i feel like they are always off work.
enough free time to have another job on the side.

1. Grilling food
2. Sweeping the grounds
3. Playing basketball
4. Standing around discussing something

Seriously though, I applaud anyone who can make it thru the training. I graduated with a girl who was the first female firefighter in my hometown.

both are in sick shape physically.. frickin stacked..
both have sweet cars and hot bitches!
one has his own lawn care business outside of the firehouse
one is a handyman on the side
both always seem happy

i mean, there's the whole dying thing, and that's important, but other than that, that looks like a sweet gig!

gino's stacked, got a hot chick, probably drives a sweet car and has his puppy factory on the side... sounds like a firefighter to me...
