A little about myself. My name is Dee. I have a 93' 750sx that i've been rockin on for about 4 years now. I always had fun ridding it but knew it was time to step up to the plate. So I bought a 2010 sj. Holy ..... so much fun. I've had a perma grin for about 2 weeks now. I've been to the river with her about 4 times now. Im learning to carve and how she handles. Its so different then my old ski I feel like im learning all over again and lovin it. I noticed something that has me concerned. When I jump out of the water I get a nasty vibration and sound. It also happens when I come out of a corner and leave the water for a split second. It almost sounds like the impeller is rubbing on something. When its in the water or running out of the water theres no sound. I'm not sure if I should open her up to investigate or if its still just breaking in and needs some time for everything to meld together. Ive been thinking about getting a blowsion pole spring. If I get a spring, is a pole limiter a must. I have second thoughts about drilling holes in the dash of my new girl. A B pipe from what ive been reading is the way to go but for now I want to learn the ski well before I start modding. Is there anything I should do right away to keep the ski reliable and mechanically sound? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
