I'm back w/ a new ski (PICS)

Its been 2 seasons but I finally got back to the water today. I picked up a '96 SJ w/ 760 and fuel injection and it is bitchin'. Can't wait to head out with the O'side crew again.

The fuel injection can be seen in the last pic. I gues it is like a mechanical fuel injection back in the old days with cars when they first started to fuel inject them. Supposedly it has instant throttle response.

From everything I've heard the MRD fuel injection is the best low end punch you can get. It chews through a bit more fuel and you have to adjust it a lot more than a carb but those who have it and got it setup correctly usually don't go back.

MRD is a nice setup just watch the fuelpump it has plastic internals that tend to break nice ski

That MRD has 3 down sides, When in the air or if the pump un hooks taped out, gasing it causes too much fuel (it doent know its not under a load) and a feeling like it has brakes (loads up) for a a second when you go to gas it again.. #2 is its very easy to fill the engine up with water with a side draft set up.. 3rd is the plastic gear in the fuel pump..

Yeah I have no idea who you are but I sure remember that avatar!!! :haha: Thurs, Fri, and Saturday all look like good surf days. Oceanside crew will be on it- come up and join us. We ride at 7am. meet on the ramp.

I'm curious to know what my ski is worth. I think I got it for a steal from my boss's husband but can someone give me an idea of price.

The ski is a '96 SJ w/ 760 and in brand new condition. Not a scratch on her or under her.
