Dude,
Killer event last year! I have a couple suggestions that I think you are allready working on.....mostly just with the location of stuff.

1. Get the Zone close enough to the Beach entrance to beach cart skis. (bigger zone is always better)
2. Fuel up Area closer to the water
3. Tent and PA closer to the water
4. Maybe get the big couches off to one side and the smaller skis on another (I almost got killed a few times by a Seadoo or Honda almost landing on me)
5. I'll disagree with a riders meeting. Everybody will NEVER be in the same place at the same time. (It's a freeride, people came in from out of town at all different times) Just make a big sign that has the rules.

I rode more at this event than Daytona. Less crowded, great surf. !

Everything DJ and WDKFAN said. ESPECIALLY DJ's #4 !!!!! A few close calls with couches out there.

Also having someone make sure there are no children try to swim in the ride area. If the weather is as warm as it was last year, it will probably happen again. There was 3 times on Sunday I noticed kids/teenagers swimming in the southern side of the ride area. Other than that I cant think of anything else. Had an awesome time and cant wait till this year.

This is at the top of our list to work out, but is really up to the City and availability. Will see what can be accomplished.

2. Fuel up Area closer to the water

This was set by the city, had to be above the high tide line and such for enviromental reasons. Hopefully with a location closer to the beach entrance, it will be a little more convenient next time.

4. Maybe get the big couches off to one side and the smaller skis on another

Good idea! Need to keep that in mind when configuring the event!!

The ride area was 5 blocks, and we hardly used more than 2 or 3 blocks. Breaking the area in two is something to defiantly keep in mind for the next event!

Keep recommendations coming, and thanks for the input everyone!

hangtime

Speak up ,don't kiss azz
Get some trailers for moving all the ski's .Beach carts are not made to go such a long distance at a faster speed than 5mph .they were driving the ski's over to the beach at 10-15 mph and that heats up and melts the bushings

I can't speak for anyone else but my beach cart took a beating there ,I needed all new bushings for both wheels and my axle and bow stop has a slight bend from the RXP that you guys put on it .Pete's beach cart fell apart after 1 day because of the bushings .NO COUCHES ON BEACH CARTS:biggthumpup:

That is the only thing I can think of ,everthing else was mint .

I'll start one monday. I'm so Fn tired right now... replaced the intake manifold on my car today, ran like ********. Just found coolant in a spark plug hole 2 hours ago, just now got that fixed & I gotta be up by 6:30 am to load the ski for a dawn patrol ride tomorrow. Then I work til 3 am. monday...haha
