i want to relocate my electric bilge outlet

the last owner tryed to hide the bilge outlet under the edge of the hood (1991 SUPERJET) and i would like to have it exet out the side so i can see it. anyone know the best way or easy way to plug the old hole.

I would glass one side fill hole with epoxy or stuff some glass in there and resin it up good then do the same with the outside/inside. Sand/paint good to go.

was hopping for rubber plug or somthing. what you recomend sounds like work......This is America we dont work anymore...mabey there is a goverment program that will fix my old hole for me. LOL just kidding.

Dam...my first post and I already look like an idiot. The current hole is located in-between the hood seal and the edge of the hood. It can hardly be seen. It’s on top and in no direct line of water travel. This is the only reason I thought a rubber plug might work.

For this season:
Cut the hose on the inside to about an inch then use a plug and a hose clamp. As long as it's already hidden and keeps the water out it's good enough for this season's riding.

Then as you say do it right this winter.

Rubber auto plug or duct tape would work and be quick and easy....

...but I'd glass it if I were you. You're going to have to do it eventually.

Yep, a rubber body plug glued in place would seal it right up. Don't worry about looking stupid, some people will go out of their way to help you do that.
