Here's a stabilizer I made along with a monopod. I've got a $50 POV pole that's pretty sweet too

The grips are the most expensive part. About $7 a pair. Between the 2 I've got about $20 into both of these!!!

I made a helmet 'Beenie Boom' that extends 4' (no joke). Rotates or fixed...

It's counter-balanced so that, I don't have 4' extending on other end. lol

If it's jumpy just playing back, then make sure your memory card is fast enough for what you've shot. It may not be able to read fast enough to play without stuttering.

Shoot higher resolution with at least 60fps so you can zoom/slow down in editing if you want, otherwise you're stuck with what you shot.

Make sure to clean the camera lens and case inside/out before shooting and if it's wifi-enabled us the GoPro app to frame your shot.
Ya I opted for the cheapest memory card just to get rolling until payday.....that might not have been so wise lol

Important GoPro point: Polarization filters, and how important it is to our sports' quality shots.

All levels of 'buy in' to this = @ one end : you have the $8 solution ( small cut out of polarized plastic that fits between the GoPro 'naked' lens and WP case)
or @ the other : $99 snap on 55mm lens apapter, w/ 3 glass filters, CP, and 2 ND

THIS... THIS THIS THIS... will fix all your playback problems... MUST RUN CLASS 10 CARD... a 32g will work but i'd suggest going to a 64g instead...
you'll burn up about 8g/hour of video.. just a guide line, but it's the easy way to not run out of space half way through a ride...

I shoot 2.3K @ 30fps for indoor field hockey (I coach) and burn around 16Gb/hour. In editing I can zoom in on far end goal and still see the ball though I can't do over 30fps for smoother motion.
