Ya I opted for the cheapest memory card just to get rolling until payday.....that might not have been so wise lolIf it's jumpy just playing back, then make sure your memory card is fast enough for what you've shot. It may not be able to read fast enough to play without stuttering.
Shoot higher resolution with at least 60fps so you can zoom/slow down in editing if you want, otherwise you're stuck with what you shot.
Make sure to clean the camera lens and case inside/out before shooting and if it's wifi-enabled us the GoPro app to frame your shot.

There isn't much of difference in resolution beyond 1080 is there?!?! Unless Ur viewing on a 4k resolution tvI shoot 2.3K @ 30fps for indoor field hockey (I coach) and burn around 16Gb/hour.
