Surf riders hate because while we are out riding and having fun they are stuck at home pulling their engine out to remove broken off starter bolts,rusted out starters, broken engine mounts, broken midshafts and repairing damaged noses from doing lawn darts, thats enough to make anyone an a$$hole.

huh? we just pulled a freshwater ski apart tonite that had more seized bolts and rusted crap than I have EVER seen in a ocean ski....

most freshwater guys dont even know what grease is........


you coulde take my entire ski apart with a 1/4" socket wrench.......(maybe not really, but you get my point)

I don't see anyone traveling 1000 miles to ride a lake.

People come here to ride surf all the time from all over the country, so there must be something to it.

I personally do not ride lakes because the water is gross and there are lots of Gators and snakes. If I lived up where the lakes are clean and big I may hit em up once in a while.

what are YOU talking about...I just recently diove 1300 miles to ride in a lake. 1 tank, almost....I tried, but couldnt do it...I left florida and returned to florida with the same fuel

I think you miss the point. Some of us ride jet skis becuase of the surf, you assume people just love jet skiing, I love the surf and use a jet ski to get my groove on, if there was no surf I would not ride skis. I would probably just ride my dirtbike more. No right or wrong, just a different way of looking at the "sport"...
