Dave,
Legdrag's (Kevin) made them with SRE Scott R.... Enginering I forgot the last name for Scott but he works for NASA now so he really is a rocket scientist. They don't produce them anymore but they kinda look like the Chopper carbs Sato makes with the shower holes all the way around. They hit hard!

Kevin,
Haven't tested it but it is going in soon with a big hub SXR impeller. I think I might just get longer fasteners and try it this week.

Sounds good.

My friend had an away message up saying "A dual major in Rocket Science, what the F%^& was I thinking?!"

She is majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. So I guess she will be a rocket scienstist one day.

I am debating on buying a Novi 48 mm single for my X2 now.

I have a Kehin 42 I cam across, how well does a single 42 work?

Basically you get what you pay for. I ran a single 42 for a while. No complaints but no big power. Either go with a set of standard 44's off ebay (Got mine for $180) with a manifold or hold out for some Novi's Full Spectrums, Black Jack or SRE's( Got mine for $250) if you can get them. Try to get it off a kawi since the jetting will be way closer from the start. I got lucky with mine. It came off and 800 Kawi so it is super close right now.

Hot Products has the throttle shaft connectors and brackets you will need to get them working.

You can use stock Yamah single carb spark arrestors on standard mikuni's but you need Tau Ceti's for the Modded carbs.
