i know , another footholds question

Does anyone know what footholds Ratti is running on his superjet?

I dont want beginner footholds like mashers or whatever... I was looking for the orignal design of 24-7 innovations.... but they redesigned them i heard. Does anyone have the new 24-7's?
and how are they?

I am using the 2001 footholds on my RN and the 2003 on my SN... they are pretty similar as far as I can tell. I love 'em.

I am pretty sure that the foot pocket is the same in the 2002 model and the universals (new).

I will be out at Dunedin this weekend if you want to have a feel on both of my boats.

24-7 universals on the kawi.
Wamilton Ricters on the SJ.

the only difference between the 2002 Bindings (24/7) and the universials is the indention for your ankle on the 2002's, as far as how they fit, there is some slight differences but if you never had the 2002's then you would be fine with the universals. Ratti has Rickters on his boat.

Mashers are only for ski's where you would be racing them also, dual purpose.

I put in my first set of wells a couple weeks ago. Wammer Rickters. They feel great. I put them as far forward as possible after reading the advice from others. Before the holds I stood with both feet further back than the holds are now, so that has taken a little getting used to. I have 8mm padding under the feet with turf on top, 8mm on top of the feet that has been sanded and shaped with a layer of turf on top of that.

how many inches did you move them up from the back of the side wall?

From the back of the hull to the back edge of the footwell was about 4 3/4 inches. I just went up far enough so that the right well touched the exhaust tube and pulled it back 1 or 2 mm. Then I just made the left side match.

My buddy installed a set of those replica rickters that SJK was selling. Here is a link with my buddies wells in them.
