I FOUND a Super Jet on the side of the road

These guys at work tell me they seen a jet ski on the side of the road leaving work the other day. I asked them if it was a stand up. They confirmed. So I figured i'd go see if it was a 440 or 550. Figuring who would get rid of a s/j or kawi 750. I go over there and its a 93 SJ w/out an engine. Everything is pretty damn good shape. Looked like the impeller had no chips or anything and the hull was in good shape. Had EVERYTHING but the engine. Even the bushings in the handpole were good. Had the hood also, and the latch even locked on it :arms: Now I have to take it to the Police Department to see if its stolen..... I just got to work an hour ago so I got 7 more hours before I can leave :bs2: My buddy is taking it to his house right now for me. Cross your fingers. Good find, make sure you get a "non-stolen" report from the PD if you need to get it registered and titled. It will save you time down the road.

I wouldnt do ANYTHING to it, until youve talked to the Police.

you might loose any time/effort you put into it, and its also a good way to get your ass kicked if some dude spots it in your driveway and it is HIS!

Well, I took the Jet Ski to the State Police. They took it and said they'd get a hold of me. If I didn't hear from them within a month to call them :sad: So, About an hour and a half later he calls me. Says that the owner gave it to some kids about 4-5 years ago and hasn't seen it since. So, the kids dumped it, and I found it. He asked if I was interested in it and I told him definetly! He said he was going to get all the information for me so I could get it registered in my name. State Police FTW!! Here she is in all her glory.

I told you I got rid of the other ones for good reason :haha: I knew I would find something. You gotta see how wicked clean this thing is. I'll post pics as soon as I get it back.
