keep looking you will find one. i looked for a long time before i found a good one at a good price in florida (i live in michigan). a guy i knew was on vacation around the ski so i asked him if he would go pick it up and bring it home for me. everything worked out pretty good. so dont let distance get in the way. there is always a way to get it to you.

yea i don't mind going on a road trip. like 5 hours is the max from me. any more its not worth it.

i goto school in West Virginia so 5 hours from there too. so VA might be an option.

A 5 hour trip and $1500 could put restrictions on what you buy. I once drove to Florida (26 hours I think) to buy a basket case 96 SJ - but it was a hell of a deal ($1250) and I had other business to do. Made a family vacation out of it. Delivered 2 skis to FL, and took mine to ride, picked 2 up, and 3 motors while I was there. That was so cool, but we were in a bit of a hurry, so I didn't get to ride much.

As a matter of fact one of the ones I bought there was a complete 91 SJ for $100.

but with the price of gas these days and stuff its prob not worth it. if some one was paying me to deliver a ski or 2 i can imagine that, but its always an option. would hate to drive long distance and find out its a junker.
