Yup, AGM all the way for me. I have had a few of the old Everstarts from wally world hold up for years however. Of course that was before the big bore and hi compression. Its late, I'm out.:woot:

Thanks so much for all your help...I hope you chime in tommarrow when I get deeper into this...

Actually, I would be glad if it was a battery, thats alot cheaper than getting a new starter, plus I know how to put a battery in.I am pissed however, that I went to walmart, and I did not bring enough for one of the testers that actually show voltage...I ll be getting that first thing tommarrow..The digital one is about 23$

Ok, So I got it to turn over for a sec.

I just bridged the connections on the relay for the hell of it...It did spark, maybe I just didnt notice it yesterday? Not alot though, and I held the bridge for a few seconds, and the starter started turning over so I quickly let of the bridge, now it won't turn over everytime I bridge the connections, but I can get a weird noise from the relay......What could it be?

Sounds like a weak battery.

I just went out and bought this one. Will it work? I mean does it have all the right settings? And what are is it going to have to be set on?
