I am about to freak out.

I think this winter has me loosing my mind. I feel like I am trapped or something. all of the sudden after swearing I would never get one I am looking at motorcycles. I have broke one major bone and that was bad enough. A motorcycle could potentially ruin all my other hobbies. Not to mention I don't really have the money for a new triumph. The water is only going to be in the mid to upper 40s this weekend but I think I am going to go anyways. I have to do something before I loose my mind. I think I may just need a good beating or something.

you can prob get some good warm weather rides in sooner down here. I will prob be down by the kimberling bridge just about every sunday and I know keegan rides every weekend with his crew.

I find that having hobbies OTHER than jetskiing really helps. :bigok:

For me that includes guitar, banjo, video games, and dutch oven cooking.

I get pretty into tech related stuff in the winter but I am burnt out now. I do a lot of hiking usually but this winter was full of cold crappy days.

I am in the same boat as you man... it has been 10 degrees colder than the average high temp pretty much the whole frickin month of march... It should be averaging in the low to mid 50s now for the daily highs... and we have snow in the forcast possibly....

Come on I've been out 8 times this year. The coldest was on 2/2 with 35 degree air (adding windchill 25 degrees) and 36 degree water. The wind was splashing the water around rather well. The longest I went without riding was 31 days from 12/8 to 1/8. Mainly because no one else wanted to go out during the holidays.

You guys just need to dress right, get tough and hit it. I have a 4/3 wetsuit, 7mm boots, 3mm gloves and 5mm hood. The only thing exposed is my face. It gets a bit cold but in the end I'm a little cool not frozen. It's also nice to ride a couch this time of year. :smile:

If your on a stand up take it easy and don't fall down.

thats to cold for me. I have a 2/3 wetsuit if its to cold for that than I don't go. may is great when you can start going with out the wetsuit.

hell yeah man, i like to hear that. i have rode about all year took about a month off during the holidays and then went right back at it. our water is up to 55º now so it feels hot compared to 36-38º we were riding in.
the right gear you can do it!!

well in michigan me and geek rode with the water at 34 and the air about 20
my throttle cable froze it was so cold i have a drysuit and everything so the cold dosent bother me but in michigan all the lakes are froze for 3 mounths ill be rideing as soon as they open up

Word!!! I love computers (I guess) and I like games a lot!! But I am sick of it ALL!!!!! I NEED to ride!!!!

I haven't played games at all since I finished Mass Effect in early December.
Nothing decent has come out, and I had to move, start a new job, rebuild 2 skis, start banjo playing, restart guitar playing etc etc etc....no time for video games.
I am waiting patiently for GTA4 though.
