Surfriding Hydro turf 2 tone diamond

I turfed my SN w/it last spring.
Mine the diamonds are black, and the grooves are yellow.
Duability wise is held up great. Offers more Cushion than some turf I've felt.
The yellow has faded pretty badly though in 1 summer of use though :(
Reckon if ya wanna bright colored turf ya better keep your ski covered when you're not standing in the tray..

Ya i pulled the trigger on the orange and black, bout to turf here pretty quick. We shall see what the tx sun does to it this summer. I'll try and keep it from sitting out in the sun for extended periods i guess.

i heard they changed the process sometime in 2012 so the top layer won't come off anymore... weather it's true or not is another thing... i've got green/black ready to go in next week...

How is this stuff holding up?

It's not.
It's okay in areas where you don't actually step on or otherwise touch the surface. If you do, the top layer will come off. In addition to it looking like ass, it also loses a bunch of traction and makes it slippery.

PS: This was turf ordered in 2011. It may be better now. It was a chitty enough experience that I won't try it again.

I have black on top and orange in bottom the turf held up great I must have put 30 tanks through it and it has held up just fine. But the orange has faded beyond belief. You need a cover

the old stuff if you spilled ANY fuel on it at all it'd all separate......

You must just pull the top off your gas can and tip it up side down and just hope the fuel hits the tank? All I see you post is about spilling gas and ruining chit.:laugh2:

I have turfed a couple of skis with the old and the new. The old stuff was horrible but the new stuff is definitely way better. Without a doubt it is still more likely to look beat up over time than solid, but way better than the original two tone.
