hp input wanted jetworks 4mil Vs lpw bigbore

If I was spending the dough on a stroker I would just go all out.

8mm+
Lamey Non powervalve.

expensive yes..... but Id rather just do it the way I would realy want it the first time and be done.

I realy like the way my TLR 85.5mm bigbore hits.... I dont even Have a MSD inhancer..... with Total Loss I think it would be a absolute beast..... And with the TBM cone and 12/17 C-75 it stays hooked up....

You would think this is a good idea, but financially, it can kill you.

Once you get the fever, it is hard to go back and you find yourself wanting more and more power. When you get to the bigger power levels it becomes exponentially more expensive to realize seat-of-the-pants gains.

Jetworks... Run it for a year or two, get comfortable with the power, get the setup dialed in, and you're going to be reliable as nails with a stock bore.

Once you're ready for a top end send it over to Paul, and than you'll be running a 4mil with whatever you want LPW to put on the top of it...

Combo the two and you've got a motor you've spend X amount of $ on over 2-3 years. Won't be so bad when its $1000 at a time rather than $5000 in 1 shot.

But what I would do is go Jetworks 4mil stroker, stock bore. Than pick up an AM hull, new or used.

Mine is dome but I'm pretty sure he can do either.

Just wondering which one he is comparing to the JetWorx setup price wise.
A dome setup requires much less machining but is also a cheaper maintinance setup. I prefer the R&D sleaved flattop myself, it seams to make a snappier power than the stroker dome setups but prolly less overall torque.

Ive got a plan for one of those, but i just dont think i can afford any lamey or am cylinder right now

XFT Flatwater Hull?.... If you are doing that, you will be making your ski so much lighter and "looser".

You may want to get use to the way that new boat will ride, before putting the extra power in it.

With that hull I would just do the 4mil Jetworks, and punch the stock cylinder/sleeves out to 83mm and run standard dome pistons.... that should keep it reliable, make great power, and not be to expensive for the Machining.... then you can go 83.5 then 84 before needing larger sleeves.... and your displacement will be around 780cc <-- Just a guess, I did not calculate.

I got 779?

83mm x 72mm = 779cc
81mm x 72mm = 742cc
84mm x 68mm = 754cc (760)
83mm x 68mm = 736cc
81mm x 68mm = 701cc (701)

(8.4/2)*(8.4/2) * 3.14142 * 7.2 * 2 = 797.97ccm

I was figuring the 84mm that Cracker posted.

does art have any info the web about his 4mm setup?

and the $2200 does that including sending him your 62t case 61x cylinders? or you drop 2200 and a stroker ends up at your door?
