I'm assuming a single SBN considering last I knew you were pimping a square. If so, your carb should have an arrow pointing in and an arrow pointing out on the front of the pump body right by the two fittings that come out the same side. In is in from the reserve/on/off valve and out is the return which goes straight to the tank. The other side will have a fitting as well; that's the pulse line which connects to the case right by the intake.
Your primer injects fuel through a small fitting (1/8" as apposed to 1/4" for above) towards the top of the carb in one of the holes left by removing the choke shaft. It draws fuel from a "t" that is either placed on the supply or return line. The actual primer pump is 'inline' between these two fittings.
