how to hang a superjet?? questions inside.

Bought a 750sx that had been stored upside down for several years in a storage barn and was fine...so can't imagine it would be a problem.

I've never had any problems, I hang it up for the winter months, just take your time and hoist it slowly (I have a winch mouted). The coupler helps support the weight some I suppose and It is an X-2 (top right).......Forgot to mention I don't hook to the boweye, I Have a SS D-ring below it with a Pretty beefy backing plate.

I ride some during the winter, but not much last winter (I also ride a Stx15f couch=dry). But all I have to do is move a 4wheeler out and wheel a trailer in, Press the down button and guide it on!

Personally I think that if it was only for a day or two the mounts should be fine, but I am by no means an expert. Also if you say you are taking out the gas tank isn't it almost required that you take out the motor or at least unbolt it making it only a step or two more to pull it out. Really as somebody else said it isn't much a hassle to take out the motor. But, if you are cramped on time I think you should be okay.

hehe, I was doing my home made footholds and put it up on its nose....as long as the weight is sitting on the ground you shouldnt have a problem

I used to hang my SJ from the bow eye for a few weeks every winter to let the foam drain. There is no reason to drain the fuel or do anything the ski will be fine. And about motor mounts I would rather have the failure in the garage than while you are at the lake so you don't have to be towed back in and fix all the other things that were torn up with failure.
