How hard is it to ride surf?

Yes, buy hood straps.
I came up short on a back flip this fall and I shattered my latch and broke one of my two straps. Without that remaining stap I would have been sunk.
Freestyle geek has a hood at the bottom of a local lake......

FL cracker lost his hood a few weeks ago here as well......he had straps, but no latch :twak:



i have had my hood nearly come off my boat, dont know how I was able to grab it before it sunk..

I think alot of peeps have NO CLUE as to how much power a breaking wave, or a 10 foot freefall have on a ski (or on a human body)

that's true. I've broken a hood latch AND one of the clips on my good strap at the same time before.

word...i lost mine with hoodstraps..broke the hood hooks and straps..
