Blaster How hard is ADA girdled head install?

Just bought an ADA girdled head for my 93 Blaster, got a quote from a local shop that seems kinda high so now I'm thinking about doing the install myself. What am I getting myself into?

It only takes about an hour or so. If you have a stud removal/installation tool it's a breeze. Even if you have to double nut the studs it's not bad. Just make sure the holes are clean, I usually run a tap through all the holes first. Jut be careful not to break the seal on the basegasket, I always do them one at a time to keep constant tension on the cylinders.

To be fair that price included an exhaust gasket, spark plugs, and grinding a bracket the might need to be modified. I'm going to give them another chance to make sure that's the price they meant to quote me, what would you say it should be? Around $100?

Wow so I'm guessing $430 for labor is wayyyy steep! I'm going to give it a shot, will I need new gaskets for the exhaust when I put it back on? I have a Riva red pipe.

your getting hosed for sure dude!
if you already have a b-pipe, then maybe 1 hour ...if an OEM pipe, maybe an extra 1/2 hour tops!
