How do you know if your CDI is bad?

Alllllright man I'm gonna give ya the run down on how to search the site...

IGNORE the in-sight search you will not find what you need!

You need to search for problems by using google and starting by typing this search criteria site:x-h2o.com

"search criteria" would be "cdi trouble shoot"... So type...

"cdi problems site:x-h2o.com" or "cdi trouble shoot site:x-h2o.com"

My advice as I said is to buy that tool from the autoparts store that shows spark with a light.

^ X2, you can meter it and check to see if measurements are within spec but that doesn't always tell the whole story. Swapping with a good known CDI is a usually the most conclusive effort.

60 will get you another dead one IMO...just saw that happen. It is SO worth having 2 known good ones around for the rest of your life....and a stator....eliminates BS.
