How do you guys do it?

I agree with the beach cart idea... I have been thinking about getting one myself

An hour drive doesn't seem terrible. The lakes I go to are all between 40 minutes to an hour and a half one way. I do that at least once a week for half the year. How far does everyone else drive?

35min. to the closest launch, 45 or so to the one I usually go to if I'm in a group.

I stick wifes FX1 into the back of my 4runner and slide it out alone too.

and im NOT particularly a large or strong guy.

x2 i have a dodge 4x4 2500, it sets high, before i got my trailer & there for a while the the wife's back was bothering her, i had to hoss my sj & her 550 into the bed of that tall truck by myself.....& i'm a little guy....was a little guy....this desk job is packing on the pounds.....

An hours nothing. We drive an hour to the closest launch there and and hour back all the time. Drive an hour after school/work. Ride for an hour and a half. Then drive another hour.

Get a beach cart and a stand. Luxury at it's finest.

Nearly always drive 45-90 minutes. When we camp, it's usually close to the water. Sometimes, we use a hitch and 4 wheeler (or a buddies golf cart) if we can't camp close enough to the water. Our beach tote converts to hitch or handle.
