i went the hardware store route. about 5 bucks bought everything I needed and it took about 5 minutes of drilling and installing. Looks nice and is strong as can be.

yamasaki said:exactly. i learned my hoodstraps lesson (or better said, lack of hoodstraps lesson) the hard way. it's not worth it. and when you consider people who put these straps on their skis are (usually) the guys who's boats are all done up, painted, modded, ..etc. whats another $29?? and you're supporting one of the best companies in the sport.
it's like driving a 12mpg car to a gas station 14 miles away to save .01 on a gallon of gas, not worth it.
spend the $29, save your ski, support blowsion. :biggthumpup:
