what plugs are you using, it may be from using the original HS plugs,, you need ES plugs with the extended ADA head. Rip out that heat sensor ASAP!

pull the E-box, unplug the two wires from the heat sensor and remove it altogether. then use some silicon to fill the hole the heat sensor wire went through.

Also, you should be getting 185 psi with 35cc domes in the ADA head.

My heat sensor is just zip tied near the e-box out of the way right now. (I have an ADA head too.) Is is a bad idea to leave it hooked up like this?

nah, it's doesn't matter... i had mine like that for a while before I removed it.

one less thing to flop around in the hull.

I'll disconnect mine and use that grommet for the remote switch on my Advent Ignition when it arrives next week.

I can't remember what the wires are like inside the e-box but do I just leave them disconnected or do they have to be hooked together?

why race gas ...?? I run mine with 91 pump gas...with no problems ??

the final PSI will be depending on how accurate your gauge is and your altitude your bore.......

I run 93 octane with 195 psi no problem... I don't do a lot of WOT runs. There's no need for anything more than 93 octane with the compression you are running.

protec head question

I have a protec head that has 37cc domes and it only runs 160lbs of compression, the site says it should be making 180. The cylinder is brand new ( resleeved ) with no port work, just wondering if anyone could tell me if this is common with these heads?

protec head question

I will try a different gage, the only thing I have checked it against is a stock 650sx, which showed 150. thanks for the info
