pull the E-box, unplug the two wires from the heat sensor and remove it altogether. then use some silicon to fill the hole the heat sensor wire went through.
Also, you should be getting 185 psi with 35cc domes in the ADA head.
My heat sensor is just zip tied near the e-box out of the way right now. (I have an ADA head too.) Is is a bad idea to leave it hooked up like this?
Why disconnect the temp sensor
nah, it's doesn't matter... i had mine like that for a while before I removed it.
one less thing to flop around in the hull.
I'll disconnect mine and use that grommet for the remote switch on my Advent Ignition when it arrives next week.
I can't remember what the wires are like inside the e-box but do I just leave them disconnected or do they have to be hooked together?
to be honest idk i just wanted to run it, i am going to put 91 in it and see what happens, my carb is still jetted for a stock 701, what does everyone else run, i have a protec pipe, op filter, and the head
