Hey 'Saki... wanna go for a lame trail ride?

Have you had yours long?

about 9 months. i wouldnt throw 2 legs over a bike without it now.

not to harp, but a groomed track is only groomed for 2-3 hours... after that, it's braking bump and rut city.. i'll helmetcam an end-of-day moto for you guys sometime.

stopping to get off your bike and move a log or a rock or reboot a laptop doesnt make trailriding any cooler. :clown:

No doubt tracks get beat up fast, Southwick use to get some pretty silly whoops by the second moto. I dunno what was worse braking bumps on harder tracks or sand whoops.

Hare scrambles are kind of a neat combination of a motocross style start with a track section that heads out into the woods to dodge solid object and figure out what puddle will get your feet wet or swamp your motor. Plus you get to ride for a couple hours steady then go home rather than hang around wating for the next moto. I always use to have too poop just before the second moto. It drove me nuts. I would leave the bike in the staging area and drop a duece in the woods then be ready to giversum on the track.

thats what i love about our mx track.. its "open practice" all day. ride whenever you want for as long as you want. the sx track gets seperated into classes. used to be me and the crew only rode the sx track, now we only ride the mx track. :dunno:

as for what's worse.. my vote is for braking bumps..

as for dropping a deuce, i usually do that the second i get to the track. an hour drive in the truck after a 20oz gas station coffee gets you nice and ready by the time you get to the track. :fing02: :usa2:

The Leat brace saved by Buddies life while racing moto. Dude spend 2 weeks in the brain trama unit and had months of rehab. If he didn't have a leat he would be dirt napping.
How's the stock prices saki?

Oh, and he now races a sxr.

Back when I was a teenager, at the GNCC races we would damn up streams or put rocks and sticks out on thr trails. The pros never had a problem with our "obsticals" but man the c down riders would :) I quit dointg that stupid stuff when I ran a race or two. After two hours of falling down on a muddy track and picking my bike back up, I said enough of that!

some carnage pics... ewww.. $$$
