hey guys going out for the maiden voyage on my sj tomorrow. what oil do i need to use as most places i can get the good stuff wont be open, will any outboard sw3 oil work? or does it really need to be the yamalube stuff?

If it's just a stocker... any 2-stroke motor oil. Good to go.

Any TCW-3 should be fine. Wal-Mart sells Pennzoil - I use that a lot.

hey thanks i will put clamps on all my cooling lines in the morning and double check the threaded hole in the head in the morning when i get it in the water, after that its game on.
