I was having the same problem, after reading all kinds of advice I still couldnt do it just had to practice a bunch, I did a ton of pancake dorky ass lands until I finally figured it out. Commitment is definately the key, Ive done a couple of suicide subs and banged into the bottom and that kind of throws you off for a while but when your up in the air and coming in you will know before you get to the water that its going under. I try to think of it not so much as pushing the front end down because that would just make me pancake but rather to jump up and tilt the ski, act like your are just trying to tip the ski on its nose, dont push down or pull up necessarily just air and rotate everything (act like the front of the tray is the center point) and teeter the ski forward.
