That is definitely as nice as a SXi gets (I don't mean looks..I mean parts) in my opinion. Price is good. What are your goals as far as riding? Carving? Or gettin inverted and under water? That hood may not like waves and freestyle.

Well I was just going to use it for all around riding around the lake. So carving and jumping some waves. My plan would be to get it and ride it till my jeep cj sells and then buy a superjet and let my girlfriend and friends ride the sxi.

I have seen this ski for sale on craigs for a good while now. SHowing that he prob hasn't had any real serious intrest in it. Make him a offer that he can't refuse and ride the hell out of it!

thats my friends old ski so i can answer any question you may have. it is a very well built motor and one of the fastest ski i have ever ridden, the pole is a shortened SJ pole and:bigok: it has hull extensions and a race hood that if you do a sub it sucks in a hole lot of water. it also has one of the loudest pipes i have ever heard on the water. if you are looking for a real fast ski i would go get her but if you want a freestyle boat i would wait for a super jet. good luck

That would be a lot of ski for the woman IMO. I would make a offer on X2addicts 701 square if this is eventually gonna play back up to your Superjet when you find one.

Then you would have a solid 701cc square nose to rip now and another Superjet when you find one.

Loud skis suck. And so do race hoods... literally...lol.

I hear ya man...I had a loud one once and hated it...

All that square ^^ needs is a round nose pole and some new turf and it will look great...and it is a fresh top end with a good prop. And a good reputable forum member selling it..

Just my .02 cents but that is what I would do. Make him a offer and find a round nose pole and chin pad and returf with some nice new diamond turf and you will have a nice simple single carb super reliable ripper with parts that you can always use.

I had a 750 Sx my first ski, for almost 3.5 years, great ski very reliable ran strong...once you advance and you want to get more out of the water there was a breaking point the "weight".....so I went SJ...never can go back anymore

X2 on squares....

I agree with everyone as far as buying from a reputable buyer but don't by into the yamaha hype....over rated. Everyone has there own opinion. I have owned both and loved both. It depends on the type of riding your planning on doing. That 750 looks clean and is priced right.

that's a good price for that boat seeing what's in it.
even with the tubbies and extentions you can still carve to some extent.
put water injection on the pipe and improve bottom end if soggy.
buy it i say.

Water injection, race hoods, Kawi motors..no thanks....

Yamaha is not hype.....all of us have owned both and Yamaha quality dominates. :starwars:

That is not opinion....that is fact:starwars:

All of us? New's flash, not everyone on this site rides Yamahas in surf....to those that actually race...get used to looking at the back end of a Sxr on that quality built machine. Each machine has it's fine points....freestyle (superjet) race (kawasaki). I am not bagging on Superjets, just defending Kawasaki.
