Do you guys recommend filling the crossover when running the oem 38s?

Filled crossover is SOP
Is your boat propped correctly? If it is too low and you are chasing boats at the lake then you may want a higher prop. Is there anything else that could be causing an excessive amount of drag on the engine? Did you check both the plugs? could there be a pinhole in your return where you are losing fuel out the bilge? I want to say the carb size/maker is not the problem, it is tuning or something else.
