so i must have gotten distracted in my fresh water flush yesterday and i forgot to reattach cooling line from pump. :aargh4: the i put her in thew water and make an even dumber mistake: didnt turn on bilge pump! felt like such an idiot floating about 100yds out, after firing her up an idling out. i noticed something wasnt right when power wasnt coming in and then more than usual smoking from exhaust so i quickly turned around and limped in. compartment was also flooding at this time. :wiggle: so i had to start engine a few more times to get in cause tide was pulling me out. i got in, reattached line, said some colorful words to myself, turned bilge pump on, then commenced riding.
i made sure to take it easy and watched water flow from pisser for a while. now i feel like i may have done some damage. exhaust note is a little sketchier at idle and power seems less than before.
ski is bone stock w aftermarket waterbox.
what do you think i damaged and what should i do to fix? thanks
