thanks for the well wishes guys! im already getting the hang of it, communication is getting easier and im starting to figure out where things are.
heres some more pictures.
chinas attempt to clean there waterways. the suds poured downriver like that for about 5 hours, no idea where it all came from but it was ALOT of soap.
this is a clear day and very light traffic compared to today!
the biggest apartment complex ive seen yet.
intersections are every man woman or child for himself! you have to look both ways the entire time your on the street. the smaller you are the less right of way you have. its common for people to run red lights. its really surprising how people dont die all the time. and on top of the chaos they water down the roads 2x a day for some reason idk..
chinese 4story mall with kfc, walmart supercenter (2 story), and pizza hut attached. pizza hut is a VERY high class resturant for some reason. its really weird.
chinese kfc beefwrap thing for 14rmb(huge ripoff comared to the food you get in the shops along and on the road)14rmb is about 2 dollars. it was spicy and dripping with sauce. pretty sure it gave me the
s. probly wont make it to the states, kfc stick to chicken!
chinese budwieser strange can complete with pop top! i didnt know they even existed anymore! i didnt try any of it so idk if its the same stuff. just really weird.
almost got beatdown from this picture, the storeowner didnt like that i took it. notice the vaccum bagged meats of dubious orgin, you can just make out the chickenfeet on the top shelf. supposedly there good, just boney!
and the chinese redbull! the only energy drink ive seen. im pretty sure this is a knockoff because it tastes similar..ish and has no carbonation. the cans are super thick and also pop top! 6rmb a peice so they are 1/2 the cost of the real thing.

Hey man good luck with the toilets and experimenting with some of the foods. Try it all man, the hot pots are good but watch out they like to sell donkey although it tasted good to me. Also try a spice called whoa jioa it is served with really spicy foods it is very interesting you'll find out. The Ching tsoa beer is good , the chinese culture is awesome , and you can get some really, really good fake Rolex's. Enjoy it while your there and shoot some fireworks for me. I'm heading back after the Daytona ride.

ahhh peterson! Hows chengdu compared to guangzhou??
ITS HORRIBLE! opworm: haha I mean, its not quite as nice to live in as apposed to Guangzhou. Guangzhou is more westernized for sure. Chengdu has one of the lowest sunshine totals in all of China.
But we will make the most of it for sure. Me and Petersen will get to ride the new style super jets, wave pool, russian swing, spring boards ... :Banane01: We just need to find a good R and T place a new Mr. Dews and maybe a Mad Max's joint and were all set. I'm sure Stan will put up some more pictures.

it is comparable.. China... dirty... cheap.. maybe colder... .. that is city to city...comparison... but i just got here looks like prices are even cheeper here.. I will keep you posted...
