Super Jet Has anyone ever broke an oem reed pedel? Most relible reed pedals?

has anyone ever broken an oem stainless reed pedal? Or has broken an after market reed pedal? Stainless pedals theoretically are super strong but failure seems like it will be catastrophic. I am interested in what people have to say about what the most reliable reed pedals are.

I have only had one fail in over 18 years of riding. It was an OEM yamaha (61x) and it ended up above the reeds jammed in the cage, not in the engine.

I tore my engine down looking for the pedal, expecting the worse, but got away lucky.

I broke a couple on a 62t bottom end. Never found it. Guess I got lucky and spit it out the pipe.

My old 650 SJ ate an OEM Reed petal. Banged around on top of the cylinder. Gave me a reason to mill the head and port since I had to tear into it.

by the way they are not stainless steel petals, a magnet sticks to them...the oem fiberglass petals last long, like B2 ones.
