Hand Warmers, Too Hot!

B-pipe set for single cooling. Cooling lines go as follows.

Head-Bottom of head pipe
Top of head pipe-chamber w/ restrictor (T'd off to hand warmers)

Water is too hot, any input on why it is, or what I should do differently would be appreciated. My motor is stock and I am not running dual cooling.

You can have scalding water or you can have cold water, regardless of what temperature water you run in.

How long is the cooling water staying in the motor? I.e. , how is the cooling flow restricted?
For example, I ride in 36 degree water this time of year here.
With 2 head outlets restricted to 4mm each, I was seeing barely 50 degree outlet temperature.
With the outlets restricted to 2mm each, the outlet temperature is up at 85-110 now.

If it's too hot, restrict the cooling less.
