Other Had a little run in with the bottom

his boat is at my shop i will get some pic,s of the damage to the ski. bent both shafts,broke all the mounts,both couplers,batt tray,coupler cover in the ele box that cut the power wire to the msd in half . but really the nose of the ski is not that bad for 3 huge shots into the sand. its one well made ski.

How did the coupler cover end up in the e-box? Thats pretty wild

Lot of movement with couch mounts. Took three shots to the bottom to finally break em. That boat had no engine keepers

Yeah this bottom hitting is a recurring Thing for me. I need big waves in deep water. My boats and my body keep paying the price for my shallow water antics.

Here's how it ended up.

All cosmetic stuff. The stock hull is still in one piece and it didn't leak.

The eyelet on the bottom of your hull, where did you get it, and how did you fasten it, and is it strong?

pretty sure its off the back of a kawi 750 or something else i parted a while back. its plenty strong and stainless.

you think the stock hull would of had issues with out the cosmetic stuff reinforcing it? was this a worse hit than your fixed steer?

We'll I reinforced the crap out of the inside ofthe stockhull. I think that helped a great deal. There are multiplelayers of17ozbiax up inside the nose of that ski.

Ski's are fixable, we're a little different.. I have mass hardware in my left femur (Broken) from a snow ski ragdoll and 2 + years later it still hurts.. Find deeper water bud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
