those waves look really big, do they kick up and tube or do they just break at the top and work there way down gradually? looks like they break slowly from the far wave. Deff fun to shred those with a bored too.

big waves

Me and Ted rode lots of waves that day that were that size and bigger. They came in sets of three or four and were really fun. It felt like an elevator drop from three stories. The surfers could only watch as they were afraid to take off on them. The closer in break was really gnarly and was almost life or death if you misjudged a wave and got taken over the falls. All in all a adrenaline filled day for me. I live in Daytona and have only seen waves better than this one time since 1973. It was trully EPIC.
