So I start fitting up my engine parts tonight and my find that my ported 760 62T cylinders do not fit into my Riva ported 62T cases. I would have thought that all cases would be clearanced to take at least a stock configuration. The sleeves are too wide to fit down into the cases.

So I guess i will be breaking out the dremel this weekend and making some clearance.

Any tips or special things I need to be looking for?

You need to have them bored to fit the larger OD sleeves. I would not attempt it with a dremel. I have the tools to get the job done it you need any help.

here is a link of how its done. AKA jet works.

They are stock 760 sleeves not overbore sleeves, that's the part I don't get. Were the 760 62T top ends always bolted to a different bottom end.

I just wish I had fit the two together earlier. I had both pieces here for over a month and never once mocked them up together.

I plan on running dual Taper bore 38's. should I be adding a second pulse fitting before I assemble as well or will one be ample for signal?

your dual 38's won't require a second pulse line but it would be smart to add another one in case you ever decide to go with some bigger carbs

i had the same problem with my 760 top end.. i was able to grind the lip away with a dremall but the cylinders are still pretty tight.. let me know how you make out with the 38's? im unsure what carb aplication im going with on mine? thinking single 48?
