X2, best thing to happen to turf since, well, since turf was invented. Harbor freight had them on for $19 a couple months back but the regular price of $39 is still pretty reasonable.

I have used the original Fein Multitool as well and the cheap one worked just as good.

This tool was invented by some guy named Gordon from New Jersey. The patent ran out and now there are all these cheap nock offs floating around. Oh well Chinese people gotta eat to.

The Fein was way overpriced imo, this works just fine and the blades are a fraction of the cost.

Where have you guys been ... I have a fein with all the attachments. Knock offs work great as well. If you do ANY mods that requiring cutting , sanding etc. this tool is a MUST . It truly is the most handy tool in your shop . Spend 39 bucks and see for your self . I see these poor souls cutting with grinding wheels and shake my head. These multi tools cut micro fine precise lines like butter without slinging fiberglas dust every where. You literally cut with one hand and hold a shop vac with the other. GET ONE ! I'll try to post a video .

I might shave a slight jagged line or cut the last little bit at a corner but I certainly don't cut with those tools. WAY too hard to cut a long straight line because the blade always wants to wander off the cut line and vibrate again the sides...NOT COOL! Then the blade bends a hair and you're going off the cut line whether you like it not. Maybe the air tool version runs at a higher speed but I certainly can't control it accurately with one hand and it makes the same mess as any other tool.

I'm sure the fein tools are better than the knock offs but I bought my 60 gallon air compressor for the price of one of those things and the air compressor has proven to be a far better investment IMHO.

I have been looking at one, I am splitting the difference and getting a Rockwell or Dremel tool, as mentioned earlier everyone is making one now.

Bosch accessories are known to be the most durable, they make an adapter that makes them work with any brand tool.

I got the dremel and the metal cutting blades don't last long. Might have to look into the HF air version.

Nut , the trick is to score the line first . Then you make several passes ( it goes fast ) . If you just jab it in it will wonder . Make no mistake it is a SUPERIOR way to cut fiberglass and carbon . I have a video where I'm holding a camera filming , holding a shop vac between my legs and cutting a razor fine line ..... just can't up load it from my phone . When I come down this week I'll give you a class.

Agreed these are the shizz for making cuts and removing turf, but my harbor freight/Chicago brand only made it through one project. I'd buy the real deal Versus the cheapo.
