GP 1200 Wamiltons Hull?

Just picked up a 1200GP hull at the Yamaha dealership today built by wamiltons. It's super clean inside and out. It has a 760 Yamaha top deck with carbon fiber bottom deck. It has everything minus the motor and electronics. I'm not a big couch rider, but should be a great ski for the wife. My question is..when did wamiltons make these hulls? Also, it looks like I can install a 701 or 760 if wanted due to the mounting location on the hull. Sorry guys i did look at year of the hull..did really care. If I had to guess 2000 to 2003, any input you guys have would be helpful!!

Edit: The hull is not carbon, it is an after market hull, I just do know which one as the ski does not have any vin# the registration says 2000 navtec and I don't have the title yet. The work that wamiltons did was move the bed plate back and bulk head along with some other glass work on the hull. I only paid $40 bucks for the ski :Banane09:

Are you sure its not a R-pot hull? I know he was about the only guy making any carbon race hull back in the mod days

You sure it is a Wamilton's hull and not a Bullet Marine hull? I didn't know Wammer ever made a carbon hull for the GP. I know he made some raider hulls. Look at the back of the transom where a vin would be, see if it says 'bullet' and a number. Pott made the blaster carbon hulls, Bullet made the GP hulls.

Wamilton's name is all over is ski from the turf to the bulk head...I can post picture in the morning. I was told only a few where ever made.

I'd bet its a bullet marine hull, the bottom is an x4 hull, runs a seadoo pump

the extra motor mount location lets you run a 1200. the 701 and 760 use the same mounts

I didn't think there was a difference between a gp760, gp 800 or a gp 1200.

The midshaft for the 701-760 is much longer than the one for the 1100-1200 models on most Yamaha sit down watercraft,not sure on the GP hulls

something aftermarket is going on there, the bottom appears to be fiberglass, oem gp hulls are not glass. Its hard to tell but the pump tunnel looks glass not smc.

plus the extra motor mount location on the gp hulls uses the same front mount not rear like this one

There's more glass work behind the mid staff. And the gas tank mounts have been move future back too. I know it's a GP 760 top deck...I wish I could figure out what the bottom deck was.

That looks like a Seadoo jet pump stuffed in there,I am just judging by the steering nozzle and trim setup.I need better pics and pics of the bottom.

Why don't you just email Wamilton and ask him what it is/or whats been done to it?
