These will actually come with a clear gelcoat that is UV resistant.

The liner is still curing in the mold...the top part is just fresh out of the mold. Will post pics when it comes out.

Question for you: I just did my reinforcing and did carbon fiber on the inside over top of some fiberglass... I love the way it looks. Do I have to do anything to it like clear coat or another layer of epoxy over it or something to keep it looking good? Or is it cool just they way I layed it?

You probably ought to test that. It's gonna amber/yellow pretty quickly. There really aren't any gels that compare to clear urethane. Looks good, though.

the product description on the gelcoat specifically claims to have UV protection but of course clearing the hood anyways would be best.
