For my little SN, with a little 650 . . .
Stamped Yamaha and 28, supposedly made by Westcoast
Anyone know what psi this head will make (looks unmolested)?
This will be a good chance to check ports and cylinder walls.
Wheres a good place to get head gaskets? critical install tips?
Thanks!

Westcoast Head

I had the same Westcoast head just with bigger domes , if your 28cc's are to high in compression please let me know, I need higher ones due to altitude.

The head was great with my stock 650 with a coffmans pipe !!

no really? :ugh2:
i didnt know and it didnt seem to help,
thats why I was asking for install tips.:fing02:

waiting on head gasket.

hopefully idok is right, prefer 180 over the 195 :skull2:listed in the Hot Products catalog under 28 cc Westcoast domes

once I get a head gasket, I will bolt it up and see what I get!

These heads were sold through Yamaha and had Yamaha part numbers, thats why I doubt it would be more than 180 psi.You can quite possibly still order domes from the Yamaha dealers.:sadwavey:

The old Yamaha part numbers for the 650cc head were:
28CC MWV-EW2HD-DM-00
29CC MWV-EW2HD-DM-01
30CC MWV-EW2HD-DM-02
They are probably obsolete!!
