I am not sure what fuel line I got on ebay last time but is was horrible. Not even a full season on it and that orange hose shrunk and got really hard. Installed new lines today and hopefully they are a better quality. Is there a name brand hose that is descent. Does not have to be clear just durabe.

My personal favorite fuel line is called Tygon. Yellow, clear stuff. Only problem with it is you need special sized hose clamps, if you like the clip style like I do. The 9/16" clips(I think that's the size?) fit the 1/2" hose really well, but are hard to find. If you like worm gear clamps it's not an issue.

Get it by the 50' box from McMaster Carr for about $1 a foot, or get ripped off by NAPA at $4 a foot....

Pep Boys fuel line is what I use, $10 for 20 feet I think, zip ties work real well on it, very flexible.

My blue hose from magoo is still holding up, he recommended replacing it after a season.

Concerning any of the clear/colered (non-Tygon) line, it usually all discolors within a season, but I haven't seen it harden within a season. That takes about two seasons.

The green OEM is the best in my opinion, but it doesn't look as nice. I just replace on a seasonal basis to keep the nice looking lines.

Tygon is chemical laboratory tubing and is quite resistant to fuel and heat (as far as heat transforming/hardening it).

I've heard that soft fuel line should not be used for pulse lines because it absorbs the pulses and weakens the pump signal. I don't know if the eBay lines fall into that category, but certainly Tygon is way too soft for pulse line.

Riva sells rolls of fuel line. You can also get a 25Ft roll of blue line from Hot Products, I did and it looks cool and you don't have to use hose clamps like that thick braided line.
